Why?
...because to me an image is a profoundly emotional and likewise authentic means of worldwide communication;
...because, through drawing and painting, time and space lose their limits, rules and conventions are stripped of their order, and my curiosity and interest in experimentation are perpetually satisfied;
...because I am allowed full liberty regarding my deliberations: the decision to be myself, to convey everything that impresses and fascinates me;
...because I wish to celebrate the plurality, complexity and the beauty of our world.
How?
...depending on my artistic devices, I choose and employ different materials si techniques, such as: acryl, gouache, watercolors, pastell, charcoal, coloured pencils or graphite;
...I am currently exploring an assortment of mixed media and collage, since these techniques offer endless possibilities of expression, while simultaneously inciting the viewer's appreciation of the fantastic and harvesting spontaneity and novelty;
...my works emphasize the purity of form, line, light and colour, the haunting obsession of an interior state, the attempt to reflect human existence in light of all of its aspects and primarily the belief that life is not illusory.
